Interactive Whiteboards
This week I explored all of the different ways and uses for interactive whiteboards! I actually got to use one for the first time myself and it was super exciting all the things that I was able to accomplish. I had no idea that these whiteboards were so interactive and social. I think it would be really great to have one in my senior level English course because having students interact with one another builds a rapport between them and thus allows a level of comfort to develop within your classroom.
In the link below I have included a Blendspace which is a great website for creating your own lesson plans and drawing for information from all over the web! It is a great resource for any teacher. It allows for so much new information and knowledge to be acquired and shared with your students. In my Blendspace I included: 1)what an Interactive Whiteboard is 2) 5 different Interactive Whiteboards brands ( including SmartBoard 3) An image of what an Interactive Whiteboard looks like 4) A video of a teacher demonstrating how to use one effectively and 5) Many different uses for a whiteboard for secondary education. Lastly, I included the video (shown above) of myself interacting with a whiteboard for the first time. Enjoy! To access my Blendspace Lecture click on this link
